Please feel free to review my portfolio of past projects.

I am still learning and experimenting with many projects, and as such some of the projects may be in various stages of completion. BIS 4990 - iPhone/iPod programming

This course was designed to introduce students to programming for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. In addition to iPhone development the course focused on "general purpose, object-oriented programming and programming concepts, utilizing Objective-C" (Pearson, Rodney; 2009).

The capstone project for this course was to design and program a working app for the iPhone/iPod. My project was a game designed around the old "Lights Out" game by Tiger Toys.

BIS 3523 - Advanced Languages 1

BIS 3523 was an introduction to programming for the World Wide Web. The course material covered markup and programming languages, including HTML, PHP, and javascript.

I have reproduced the website and projects I created for class. You may review the material here.

BIS 3753 - Database Management

Introction to business database applications. Including data modeling, design techniques, and data collection storage, manipulation, and retrieval strategies.

The capstone project for this class was to design and implement a database, and to design and program an interface for the database. I designed a database for tracking students who come to the ITS Help Desk. This database is a storage and tracking system for student tickets. It allows Help Desk Consultants to pre-assign tickets to themselves before sending the tickets (via email) to the in-house ticketing system.

I have propped up an example of the database and interface here.

BIS 4753 - Structured Systems Analysis

Analysis/design of computer based information systems with emphasis on problem identification, requirements structuring, and solution generation in theory and in a business project.

The capstone project for this class was a group project. We were asked to evaluate a real company and propose, design, and implement a solution that met their business needs. We chose a company named Adapts that specialized in forensic testing. Adapts was an independent compant providing lab that oversees sample acquisition and testing for pain managment clinics. Adapts was looking for an information system capable of storing, retreiving and generating ad hoc reports for their employees and clients. This project is still a work in progress. We finished enough of the project to meet the class objective but are working on implementing a complete interface for the client. You will find an example of the interface here.

TKB 4583 - Graphics and Web Design

An introduction to graphics and web design. This course focused primarily on the use of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Bridge, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver.

You will find examples my projects here.
